Maya 2020.4 is the latest in a series of updates, with a continued focus on creating more artist-friendly tools and experiences. This release includes a major update to Bifrost Extension for Maya, as well as the new Rokoko Motion Library, Substance, and Arnold for Maya plug-ins. In addition, Maya curves can now be dragged and dropped directly into Bifrost graphs and converted into Bifrost strands. To summarize, in Maya 2020.4, Bifrost capabilities expanded and increased. This update also brings you the latest version of Arnold for a faster, more creatively engaging rendering experience, as well as improvements to the Motion Library and Substance plugins. With a focus on bringing richer, procedural workflows to more areas of your pipeline, we’ve added powerful scattering, instancing, volumetrics, and FX capabilities to Bifrost. Maya 2020.4 marks a major milestone for visual programming in Bifrost for Maya. Not only that, they have updated the Aero solver. There are also Volume Improvements and Cloth and Thin-Shell Simulations. In addition, it now includes Graph Shape Nodes, Fields System, and a Scatter Pack. Autodesk has released Maya 2020.4, with a more deeply integrated Bifrost.
